Chaos.lovers es la segunda referencia del sello barcelonés de arte-electrónica LOVETHECHAOS. Este recopilatorio presenta una selección muy personal de artistas electrónicos, creadores de obras musicales, instrumentales y evocadoras de imágenes. Estilos y ofertas de los más variado, siempre siguiendo un discurso común entre todos ellos. Cortes y glitches digitales del ya conocido Strand, con su particular toque de dulce nostalgia, atmósferas cinematográficas de aires desapacibles a cargo del barcelonés Strange2 (cuyo primer largo es la primera referencia del mismo sello); Eedl y Rec_Overflow se unen para entregar un tema de delicada crudeza y de magnífica producción; la contundencia electrónica a base de ritmos abstractos la firma el francés 3tronik y el polaco CH District, este último perteneciente al prestigioso sello M-Tronic; Nikka y Morbia aunan fuerzas y experimentos sonoros para componer un tema lleno de clics y glitches envuelto en densas atmósferas analógicas; Metropol hace alarde de sonidos secos y fríos que dan forma a un inquietante tema a medio tiempo; AZ-Rotator vuelve a dejar constancia de su cirugía electrónica a caballo entre la IDM y el breakcore más elegante; los alemanes Signalform despliegan sus samplers para aportar el tema más bailable del recopilatorio y Ab Ovo cierra el cd con esa maestría hipnótica que los ha hecho una de la bandas abanderadas del sello Ant-zen. Una oferta electrónica interesante de música hecha con computadoras de algunos de los artistas más contemporaneos de hoy en dia.

Chaos.Lovers is the second release for LOVETHECHAOS, the Barcelona-based art-electronica label.  This compilation is a very personal selection of electronic artists who create insturmental pieces that have the power to evoke all sort of images.
A common discourse for a different offer of styles within the wide world of the electronica.
From the cuts and glitches -and the sweet nostalgic touch- of the well-known Spanish artist Strand, to the unpleasant cinematic atmpospheres of Strange2(whose album “Partes de un todo” is the first LOVETHECHAOS release); from the delicate harshness -and excellent production- of the brand new collaboration between Eedl and Rec_Overflow, to the most abstract-beat and powerful electronica presented by the French 3tronik and the Polish CH District (artitst of the M-Tronic label). Also Nikka and Morbia get together to make sound experimentation and compose a full-of-clicks andglitchestrack, surrounded by thick analogic backgrounds; while Metropol creates dry and cold sounds to shape a disquieting middle-tempo track; between the IDM and a charming breakcore, AZ-Rotator comes back to give evidence of his electronic surgery; in another way, German artists Signalform unfold their samplers to give us the most dancy track of the compilation; and finally, Ab Ovo ens the cd with his hypnotic mastery that has made him to become one of the most important artists of the Ant-Zen label.
A very interesting proposal to know the guidelines of what is going on in the musical scene nowadays, of music made by computers and other electronic and analogic devices
