Desde alemania llega esta colaboraci—n entre el trio alem‡n Signalform y el artista coreano residente en Canada Tachikoma; colaboraci—n engendrada gracias a las comunicaciones y a las conexiones de banda ancha. Una uni—n que ha dado como resultado un disco agradable donde queda clara la veteran’a de los artistas implicados y su saber hacer. Para Signalform ser‡ su segunda referencia, el primero fue publicado en el sello inglŽs ãShima Recordsä igual que para Tachikoma, antes de este proyecto el trio firmaba como Dron, publciando 3 referencias en el prestigioso sello MIKROLUX. En understanding media encontramos 10 temas de electr—nica delicada, entre el illbient y las meld’as planeadoras; producci—n digital que combina a la perfecci—n con los ritmos a base de glitches y clics. Un discurso relajante, uno de esos discos destinados a hacer el dia a dia m‡s llevadero; asequible y de estructuras cl‡sicas que transforman cualquier situaci—n en un bello momento. Uno de aquellos discos en los que todo est‡ donde debe estar.

This project made up by the three-members band Signalform and the Canadian artist Tachikoma comes to us thanks to the Internet broad band and the global communication network. The product of their collaboration is a very elegant release in which the savoir faire and professionalism of the members becomes something obvious. This is the second album for Signalform (the first one was released by the English label Shima Records the same as Tachikoma). Before this project, they also released three albums under the name of Dron for the well-known label Mikrolux. In Understanding Media we find ten smoothly-treated electronic tracks, in which illbient is mixed with gliding melodies, all delivered to us with a digital production that perfectly combines rhythms, glitches and clicks. A very relaxing discourse; one of these records that help us to carry the day; with classical structures that turn every situation into a beauty moment, where everything is in the right place.
